The Department of Healthcare is providing Home Health Aide & General Duty Assistant programs Affiliated to Health Care Sector Skill Council (HSSC) & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). These are carefully designed to provide quality care to patients admitted to nursing homes and hospitals. We feel incredibly privileged to provide the much needed skilled healthcare workforce to the industry. Upon successful completion of the programs, students become qualified to take the Healthcare Sector Skills Council (HSSC) competency exam. After clearing this exam, students become certified Home Health Aide & General Duty Assistant and thus work efficiently and knowledgeably.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) course trains students to work as home aides providing basic nursing & personal care for patients, older adults, and people with disabilities. Moreover, HHAs are also trained to support nurses and other healthcare professionals. The HHA training emphasizes ensuring the patient's comfort and safety are kept in mind at all times.
