India is the fastest emerging economy in the world which needs best of Managers, Entrepreneurs and Thinkers to lead the nation in to the fifth generation World. Lots of things are pending on the national, technical and academic fronts to support our country with a view of nurturing and finding the hidden Leaders.
For the same we are organizing “PARICHAY 2019” an Inter College Management Fest on Feb. 8, 2019 where competitions based on creativity, personality and skills will be held to exchange the best thought process of the times, with events created for spotting the best future Industry driven brains.
Event 1: Creative Writing
- Each college may be represented by maximum 4 individual entries.
- The topic will be provided 3 days prior to the event.
- Maximum time allowed is 60 minutes & should be of 1000 words at least.
- Essay to be written in English language only.
Event 2: Voice Your Opinion (Group Discussion)
- Each college may be represented by maximum 4 entries.
- Group size shall consist of minimum 7 participants.
- Topic shall be provided on the spot.
- Point credits will be on the basis of creativity, content, initiation, communication, Facts & Vocabulary.
- Discussion may be held mainly in English.
Event 3: Vaad-Vivaad (Debate)
- Each college may be represented by maximum 2 Teams.
- Each team shall consist of 2 participants, one will speak for & other, against the motion for 3-4 mins.
- Topic shall be given one day prior to the competition.
- Points credit on the basis of creativity/ fact supporting arguments, Voice Modulation & content.
Event 4: ADZAP (Paint Your Idea)
- Each College may be represented by maximum of 2 Individual entries.
- Product / Service idea for advertisement shall be given a day before.
- Student will have to make written advertisement on White Chart Paper.
- A student may use sketch pen, pencil, water colors etc. for the same.
- Time allowed will be 90 min.
Event 5: Quiz Mania
- One team per College comprising of 3 participants is allowed.
- There will be different round viz. Politics, Sports, Business &Economics, Current affairs, Nature and Science)
- Preliminary round may be held if required.
- The first response will be considered as final answer in each round.
- Decision of Quiz Mater will be final and binding.
Event 6: Celebrity Press Conference
- A unique contest where a student shall represent and act like a celebrity.
- Judges will ask Questions related to celebrities life, controversies, achievements and opinions.
- Participants should dress up and enact like the celebrity to gain more points.
- Background Music/Dialogues etc. can be used by the participant.
- Celebrity may be chosen from Movies, Sports, Politics, Music, TV, Industry etc.
- Each College may be represented by maximum of 2 Individual entries.
- Participant is required to inform our college, 3 days in advance the celebrity he/ she has chosen on the given contact details via Email/Phone.
Event 7: Turn the Coat
- Each College may be represented by maximum 2 individual entries.
- Each participant will have to speak for 3 minutes in favour of the topic and in the next 3 minutes participant will speak against the topic.
- Judgement on the basis of Creativity, Voice Modulation, Presence of Mind & Content.
- Topics will be provided 1 Hour prior to the competition.
Event 8: Rann-Neeti (Business Plan)
- Each college may be represented by only one/two team consisting of 3 students.
- Business Plan should be presented via Power Point in maximum of 15 slides.
- Each participant should portray his/her role in the team.
- Maximum time for presentation 10 minutes.
- Judgement will be based on Concept, Feasibility, Marketability, and profitability.
- The idea should be unique and student’s own.
Event 9: Lecturette
- Maximum 2 entries per institution.
- Each student will speak on a topic of his choice to be picked from 3 topics in folded slips.
- Preparation time of 3 minutes will be provided after picking the slip.
- Time for delivery of topic is 3-4 minutes.
- Judgement will be based on Content, Delivery, Creative thought and flawlessness of speech.
- Language can only be English.
Event 10: Ad-Mad Show
- Time allowed is 3-5 minutes.
- Number of participants per team can be up to 6.
- Topic for the performance will be given by the event coordinators one hour before the start of the event.
- Judgement will be based on the basis of Role Play/Acting, Dialog Delivery, Creativity, Expression and Relevance to the provided topic.
- No exposure to biasness against any caste/creed/community or religion is permitted.
- Use of Vulgar/Non-Parliamentary expression and language will lead to disqualification of team.
Event 11: On the spot Photography
- Entry per Institution must not be more than 4.
- Time Durations: Maximum Time: 2 hours & 30 minutes
- Participant has to bring his/her own digital camera.
- The digital camera should have a memory card which will be formatted by the judges before the commencement of the contest.
- The participant has to capture 5 photographs on the theme announced on the spot by the judges.
- No mixing, matching or morphing of photographs will be permitted.
- Software such as Photoshop etc. for enhancing image not permitted.
- The organizers will have all rights for the use of these pictures as and when they deem fit.

- Impact
- Composition
- Technical Quality
- Suitability for the specific theme.
Event 12: Kis Mein Kitna Hai Dum (Singing & Dancing)
- Entries invited for Solo/Group Singing and Solo/Group Dancing. The content should not be violent, anti-religious or anti-social.
- Each college may be represented by only one team consisting of 6-8 students.
- Maximum time allowed is 6-8 MINUTES.
- Each college may be represented by 1 participant with maximum 3 accompanist.
- Time Duration: 4-6 Minutes.
Participation – One student will be allowed to take part in one event only. Please restrict the number of participants as mentioned in an event.
Results – First three Winners will be given prizes and certificates of merit in each event. Overall Winners and Runner-up trophies to top two Colleges will be given by adding the marks of their position in each event.
